Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how QSHOT Beverage Private Limited collects, uses, and handles your personal information when you visit theqshotbeverage.com or submit a launch-list or enquiry form. Please read it before submitting your details.
1. Who we are
QSHOT Beverage Private Limited (CIN: U56300MH2025PTC450299) is the data controller for information collected through this website. Our customer care email is care.qs@theqshot.com.
2. What data we collect
When you submit our launch-list or enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, city, and any message you choose to include.
When you place an order through our store, we collect the details needed to process and deliver it: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, and order details. We keep a record of your orders and the related tax invoices.
Payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. Your card, UPI, or banking credentials are entered with and handled by Razorpay — we do not collect or store them. We receive only a payment confirmation and reference for your order.
We may also collect standard server-side analytics data (page visits, browser type, approximate location from IP) to understand how our site is used. This is used in aggregate and is not linked to individual identities.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to respond to enquiries, send launch and ordering updates, and communicate relevant product information; and, for orders, to process payment, fulfil and deliver your order, send order confirmations and tax invoices, provide customer support, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We will not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We share data only with service providers who help us run the business, including Web3Forms (form submissions), Razorpay (payment processing), our email provider (order confirmations), and our hosting and database providers (to operate the site and store orders securely). Each processes data under its own applicable data-processing terms.
4. Legal basis for processing
For marketing and launch-list communications, we rely on your explicit consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), which you provide by ticking the consent checkbox on our form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing care.qs@theqshot.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line.
When you place an order, we process the data necessary to perform our contract with you (to take payment and deliver your order) and to comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting record-keeping.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Order and tax-invoice records are retained for the period required under applicable tax and accounting law. If you request deletion, we will remove your data from active records within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site may use basic analytics cookies. If we use analytics or remarketing services that require consent under the DPDP Act 2023, a consent notice will be displayed. You can withdraw consent at any time via the cookie settings panel or by emailing us.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and request deletion (erasure) of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email care.qs@theqshot.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
We use HTTPS across this site and take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email.
10. Contact
For any privacy-related questions, contact our customer care team at care.qs@theqshot.com. We will respond within 30 days.
